Cady Homes is a family owned and operated assisted living business. We have been in operation for 20 years. There are four facilities in our company but Tracy and Sally (daughter and mother) have personal contact and knowledge of all the residents and families and the everyday happenings at the facilities.

We are committed to having facilities that are a home for the residents not just a room or a number on the door.

We have two facilities in Wausauthat that have all very large private rooms.

We have an 8 bed facility in Mosinee, Wisconsin that is located on a private lot in a beautiful woods like setting in the village of Mosinee. This facility has several private rooms as well as a large room that overlooks the beautiful yard and fenced in pool.

The facility in Birnamwood is located next to the ball diamond and has a beautiful wooded yard as well. This is right in the village and residents enjoy taking walks to the store and bakery as well as the resale shop 2 blocks away.

There is 24 hour staff on duty to give assistance with any cares needed and supervision of medications. We encourage residents to bring their own furnishings but if they have none we provide all that is needed. We have home cooked meals and supervised activities for residents if they want to join in. The local minister comes monthly as well as the local priest.

We work well with the local social services. We accept COP and family care clients in all facilities.

Amenities and Services

  • Home cooked meals or we offer a alternative for any thing they don't like to eat
  • organized activities if they want to join in
  • We have a vegetable garden planted so they can enjoy fresh vegetables without the weeding
  • We work with hospice if needed for our residents so that they can remain in their "home" until they leave
  • We accept COP and family care clients at all the faclities
  • Arrangements are made for transportation to all appointments unless family wants to transport. If a resident goes to the doctor we will send along a staff person from the facility to monitor what is said at the appointment and give any needed information to the physician
  • We have meetings with family members to answer any questions and are always available to answer questions day or night
