Marriott's Village Oaks at Hollywood Park offers assisted living for seniors in a warm and comfortable environment without being formal. A single story design makes it easier for residents to navigate and find their way. At Village Oaks, we have created Companion Living® to encourage our seniors to develop close, caring relationships through the support and friendship of a specially selected roommate. Companion Living helps to improve socialization and involvement in activities, while reducing the feeling of isolation and loneliness. Our staff works closely with residents, family members, physicians and other health-care providers to develop a written, individualized care plan to guide our associates in providing the care each resident requires. We are also proud to be taking the lead in the industry by offering our residents a strengthening program called Reach to Improve®. This program was designed to exercise the major muscle groups used to perform daily tasks by using a combination of hand-held weights, ankle weights and elastic resistance. A Short Stay Program for seniors who need short-term care may also be available. It is the ideal alternative for recuperating after a hospital stay, while family caregivers are on vacation or if you just want to try out assisted living.
