Located off NW West Union Road in the beautiful Bethany area of Portland, OR, Avamere at Bethany is an upscale assisted living and residential care community. The community has 71 luxury assisted living apartments in a wide variety of sizes and floor plans. Apartments have kitchenettes with a microwave and full-size refrigerator. Common areas for visiting and leisure activities, whirlpool spas and beautiful landscaped grounds are all part of this richly appointed environment.

Twenty six apartments and a homelike environment provide comfort in a secure environment for residents with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Staff is trained in the “Best Friends” approach to care giving and will be available 24 hours a day to provide resident support services and assistance.

Courtyards and walkways are handicap accessible. A continuum of care and support services can be provided in this senior living community. Emergency “Lifeline” call systems, when activated, alerts staff a resident needs assistance anywhere in the community. An RN and LPN are on staff for oversight of medical care support.
