"A Place for Mom is a real life saver; mother had fallen in excess of 15 times in the past year and when we took them on vacation with us Dad fell twice (that makes 3 times within 3 weeks) and Mom fell once. In the past year she has broken both wrists, one at a time. If it wasn't for A Place for Mom, I would still be at their beckon call, 24/7. I can't believe what two weeks of meals three times a day has made in their appearance. They both have pink cheeks and look much healthier. At Carillon of Harrisburg, we try to make each resident feel that this is their home. We promote their independence but are here to help when needed.  We assist with activities of daily living and offer a well-developed activity program so that residents can enjoy multiple activities within our community.  Dining here is a social experience with a well balanced, healthy, nutritious meal, served restaurant style, and one alternate is always provided.

We are located in Harrisburg, an up and growing town that is between Charlotte and Concord, which is convenient to all types of shopping and other entertainment.  We are fairly close to other towns such as Mt.

Amenities and Services

  • 1. A Licensed Nurse serves as Resident Care Director.
  • 2. Certified Nurse Assistants and Personal Care Assistants 24-hours a day.
  • 3. Full Daily Program of Activities, Recreational and Social Events (at least 6 per day with one in evening)
  • 4. All inclusive cost including care, laundry, housekeeping and medication management provided by Carillon trained and supervised staff. The only extra cost is for cable, phone and personal items.
  • 5. Garden Place, our residence for Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents with a full time Program Coordinator
  • 6. 24-hour security with fully monitored entrances.
  • 7. Meals are served restaurant style, with food choices and excellent service. Tea and Coffee service along with snacks available 24 hours a day
  • 8. Every staff member has a commitment to excellence, to the well-being of our residents and the peace of mind of our family members.
  • 9. Transportation to appointments, along with shopping and social events available.
  • 10. Carillon offers private and semi-private rooms. A two room suite is also available.
