Townsend Personal Care resides in a family owned and operated facility located in the pleasant, inviting small community of Townsend.

Townsend Personal Care is an 18 bed assisted living facility licensed by the State of Montana for personal care category A and B. Our loving, caring and fully qualified staff is made up of three shifts for continued 24 hour care. We have over 22 years of experience in assisted living, including care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Some residents choose to reside in private rooms, while others enjoy the companionship of a shared room. We provide well planed and well prepared nutritious home-cooked meals that can’t be resisted, making sure residents eat enough and eat properly.

We have many daily activities including: cards, bingo, music, volleyball and church on Sunday. Area groups and organizations come for visits and to entertain the residents. We have a 14 passenger bus equipped with a wheelchair lift for rides to doctor appointments and recreational activities such as visits to Jasper’s Pizza Pub or a trip to Canyon Ferry Lake. This facility was formerly the Broadwater County Nursing Home so it is equipped with a call bell system in every bedroom and bathroom, wide doorways and very wide hallways with handrails. The building has covered sidewalks all the way around the large covered porch furnished with tables and chairs so the residents can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and Canyon Ferry Lake. Residents enjoy as much independence as they desire, while taking advantage of the 24 hour assisted living opportunities. Private Pay, Insurance and Medicaid Waiver Accepted.
