The mission of Fairfax Manor is to promote the well-being of each resident by providing meaningful experiences, with a focus on enhancing and maximizing independence. It is our goal to nurture the body, mind and spirit, while emphasizing the dignity and value of each individual. Fairfax Manor is nestled on 27 acres of wooded countryside. Our secured community is comfortable, casual, and accessorized with attributes found in a private residence. Limited to only twenty residents per building, Fairfax Manor offers a higher level of privacy and personalized care, while creating an accommodating environment. Residents are encouraged to furnish their own room with personal belongings to further promote comfort and familiarity, and to assist with orientation. Experienced activity personnel and caregiving staff provide a variety of cultural, social and physical activities from which to choose. Daily group, as well as independent, interests are offered and customized to individual needs and adapted to the abilities of the resident. A wheelchair accessible vehicle is on the premises for community outings, whether it be a ride in the country, dinner with a local resident, or participating in the local Fourth of July Parade.
