We took Al to Brighton Gardens. When we first got there he was distrustful and looked at me and said "You're taking me home, right?" I said yes. He was a bit feisty for a moment, not seeming to like it there. Carolyn and I left him for a bit to talk with the nurse and get his belongings. By the time we got back to his section, he was sitting at a table drinking coffee and eating so we just left to let him get adjusted."

We are a family owned 36 bed cozy and comfortable historic home. We are located within walking distance from Plymouth harbor and Plymouth center. This geographical location allows our clients to be easily involved in all functions of the community. Public transportation is also available. The Chilton House provides affordable living options for it's residents.

Amenities and Services

  • Home cooked meals - 3 meals a day, 2 snacks and continuous coffee and tea.
  • Activities program - includes weekly professional artist lessons, movies, adult crafts and bingo.
  • RNP care is offered weekly as well as any medication adjustment. This care is offered on our premises.
