We are a 30 suite, state licensed,
assisted living facility located 20 miles NW of Wichita, KS in the safe, quiet community of Halstead. Our friendly, well-trained staff focuses on the strengths of each resident. They are available 24 hours a day to provide a variety of services depending upon the needs of each individual. We have 2 full-time licensed nurses on duty and there is always a licensed nurse available by phone for questions or emergencies.
Each of our private suites is equipped with a mini kitchen, sit-down showers, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning units. We provide 3 restaurant-style meals daily at no extra charge. Breakfast is individually made-to-order. Housekeeping and laundry services are included in the monthly rent. All utilities except cable and phone are paid. Transportation services are available with prior arrangements. We have an on-site beauty salon with a licensed beautician in-house weekly.
Halstead Place is a private pay facility but we also work with residents who have long term care insurance as well as Medicaid (HCBS). We can accommodate short-term (respite) and long-term stays. We can also coordinate care with hospice services.
