Atria Larson Place
Hamden, CT
Alzheimer's Care, Assisted Living

Halfway between Boston and New York City, Hamden is an attractive residential and business community. The area boasts a varied landscape with mountains, a large state park, and hiking trails, as well as a wide variety of cultural and commercial resources such as shopping areas, medical services and educational institutions.
Originally settled as a part of New Haven, Hamden still retains strong ties to its neighboring city. In particular, Whitney Avenue acts as a commercial extension to the south and is graced by a number of the region’s fine older homes. Larson Place is situated on this road, directly across from Lake Whitney and not far from both Interstates 91 & 95 and the Wilbur Cross Parkway. Larson Place is named after its architectural centerpiece the renovated Larson Hall, a Georgian-style mansion that was the home of Larson College and later Quinnipiac College. This Hamden landmark now houses a number of our apartments, many overlooking Lake Whitney.
Inside, Larson Place offers 91 traditional private apartments with full kitchens and baths in which residents can live as independently as they wish, while knowing that services are available should the need arise. In a separate secure program, 22 apartments are available for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments.
Larson place is comfortable and friendly - just like home should be.
