The community is positioned to encourage free flow from inside to outside while maintaining a secured environment. The recently remodeled rooms are painted in warm hues and varied lighting. Rooms vary in size, shared or private, bathroom accommodations, and some with courtyard access. Social areas include an activity room, private sitting room and dining room all which have access to the outdoors. Natural lighting is present throughout the community with skylights to bring the outdoors in.
Adobe House staff is provided extensive training in caring for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementing illnesses, medication training and other training to enhance their abilities to provide care and understand the needs of our residents. Staff is on the premises 24/7 and has access to the Administrator and Director of Resident Care at any time.
